Screenplays

Hello! My feature-length screenplay, My Marina, formerly entitled Departure Point, Texas, made the top fifteen percent in the 2010 Nicholl Fellowships Competition sponsored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

It’s also a quarterfinalist in the current 2012 Scriptapalooza Screenwriting Competition.

MY MARINA

by Kelly A. Atkins

DRAMA

Logline:  When the daughter she gave up 17 years ago unwittingly becomes her co-worker, friend, and rival, a struggling cook at a marina restaurant jeopardizes her home, her job, and this fragile new friendship with her daughter, as she battles the girl’s wealthy adoptive parents over the truth of what led to their separation.

If you’re looking for a good script or a good writer for another project, or if you’re looking for someone to represent, you may contact me, and I’ll get my longer synopsis and/or script right to you!

I’m currently writing my third feature screenplay, Age of Aquarius.

Thank you so much.
